Husky Camp is a member of the Siberian Husky Rescue Referral of California (SHRRCA)
 a California 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization

Before adopting a dog, please consider that they will require a place to be for the next fifteen years. If you adopt a dog that place should be with you. Ask yourself these questions- "Am I willing to take a job that allows me to have time for my dog?" "Am I willing to socialize my dog to babies before I have one?" "Should I need to move- Am I willing to begin looking for a place that will accept my furry family member well in advance of my moving day?" "Am I willing to teach my dog the things he needs to know to make him able to stay in my home?"

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OR MORE OF OUR WONDERFUL ADOPTABLE PETS, PLEASE BE
SURE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION SO WE CAN BE SURE TO BRING THOSE DOGS YOU ARE INTERESTED
IN TO OUR NEXT ADOPTION EVENT. NOT ALL DOGS ARE BROUGHT TO EACH ADOPTION EVENT.

Panda is a beautiful black and white Splash Coated Siberian. She has beautiful blue eyes with a Parti mix in her left eye. Panda & her brother Bear (see below) are now back in Rescue again. Originally, due to family health issues, and no fault of her own, she and her brother bear were looking for an experienced loving forever home and an active owner who can provide them with the love and attention they need. The first attempts didn't work out for them so they are now back.

The ideal owners should have the experience, humor, patience, and understanding that she will need to be successful. She has been in a home with Cats, and did a pretty good job leaving them alone, so we believe that she would do fine in a home with cats who aren't afraid to be in charge. This is a true Siberian, through and through- and she is up for all the typical Siberian games, getting into mischief, rearranging the landscaping, etc. She is working hard on her housebreaking and is learning the dog door, although every now and then forgets- also typical of the busy teenager she is. Panda does have a sweet disposition and loves to show you how affectionate she is. At heart, she is just a loveable dork and lots of fun. She is very active and loves to run, settling down only when it's nap time. She would benefit from an active family who is willing to include her in all their activities. She is crate trained, walks surprisingly well on a leash for her age, and loves to play rough with her brother Bear.

*Panda & Bear would like  to stay together, however separating them will be considered under the right conditions.

Bear is a tall Grey and White Siberian husky with bi-color eyes.

Like his sister Panda, Bear & his sister Panda (see above) are now back in Rescue again. Originally, due to family health issues, and no fault of his own, he and  Panda were looking for an experienced loving forever home and an active owner who could provide them with the love and attention they need. The first attempts didn't work out for them so they are now back.

The ideal owners should have the experience, humor, patience, and understanding that he will need to be successful. Like Panda, Bear appears to also be friendly toward the kitties, and Bear actually seems to have decent recall. While this is NOT an invitation to partake in off leash activities (never a good idea for a Siberian), it is comforting to know that should he get away, he at least knows his name! He too is bunch of goofy love. He is very social, highly affectionate and can be a bit of a talker, telling you about his adventures from the day with his sister at the local dog park, or what happened in the yard. He is very good with his sit and even knows how to shake. He is getting much better with his housebreaking and learning the doggy door routine pretty well now. His favorite pastime seems to be chasing his sister and telling her how much taller he is or dragging her around by the tail! He too will need an active family ready and willing to include him in all their adventures.

While Panda & Bear would like to stay together, separating them will be considered under the right conditions.

This is Skyler, a two year old, black and white female, with expressive blue eyes. Slyler made the mistake of getting out of her previous home's yard and met up with a car. Even though she did lose her front leg in the incident, it hasn't slowed down her spirit.

Skyler loves people of all ages, she's good with other dogs, big or small, and although curious about cats, she knows that they have claws and that they know how to use them.

Skyler requests a home with a secure fence that allows her to be a true family member involved in trips to the beach, our hikes in the mountains, or just that lazy day whee you hold down the couch together.

This is Rocky, a wonderful two year old gray and white boy with blue eyes and a happy smile.  Rocky has had a little rough start first living with people that didn't know how to keep gates closed, then going to a home that was only going to be temporary. He's still a funny boy that loves to give hugs and be with people. He's good with other dogs at the dog beach and dog parks. He loves people of all ages and appears to be housebroken.

Here is Yoshi a one year old black and white Siberian mix. He's possibly mixed with cattle dog. This boy is very affectionate and loves to be with people. He's good around other dogs as well, but isn't good with cats. He's house broken and good with children. He will need a secure fenced yard.
