Husky Camp is a member of the Siberian Husky Rescue Referral of California (SHRRCA)
 a California 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization

Before adopting a dog, please consider that they will require a place to be for the next fifteen years. If you adopt a dog that place should be with you. Ask yourself these questions- "Am I willing to take a job that allows me to have time for my dog?" "Am I willing to socialize my dog to babies before I have one?" "Should I need to move- Am I willing to begin looking for a place that will accept my furry family member well in advance of my moving day?" "Am I willing to teach my dog the things he needs to know to make him able to stay in my home?"

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OR MORE OF OUR WONDERFUL ADOPTABLE PETS, PLEASE BE
SURE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION SO WE CAN BE SURE TO BRING THOSE DOGS YOU ARE INTERESTED
IN TO OUR NEXT ADOPTION EVENT. NOT ALL DOGS ARE BROUGHT TO EACH ADOPTION EVENT.

Here's Barbie, an 1 year old black and white female Husky/Border Collie mix.  Even though Barbie broke her leg (which is why she came into our
rescue), she now has healed up and still loves to run and play.  She loves to play catch but like any husky, don't be surprised if you don't get the ball back.  Barbie is good with other medium to big dogs, but we think she is a little rough on little dogs and she isn't good with cats.  With the Border Collie mixed into the Husky body, makes for a smart dog that would love to pull or possibly do obedience as well.

This is Magic, a 3 year old red and white female with blue eyes.  Magic is a wonderful girl and although the shelter listed her as three, it's believed she may be a year younger.  She loves to play with other dogs, and also likes to cuddle with you on the couch. She's ok with small dogs, but cats are just too interesting to be ignored so it's not suggested to have her live with kitties.  Magic would love to have a home with a family that will take her on all their adventures.  She would like a home with another husky or play partner.

Kanti is a very sweet girl that came into rescue needed some good old TLC.  She was extremely thin and had some skin issues but is recovering nicely.  we have wormed her and she is already gaining weight.   She can be a little shy upon first meeting but warms up once she gets to know you.   A home that would include her in all the family doings would be great as she loves attention.

Here is Sled. He's is an active 9 year old boy that gets along with all dogs, and loves people. He walks nice on a leash, is housebroken and had to leave his home because the family can't give him the attention they used to.  Sled is up for hikes, beach trips, Scootering or anything an active family would like to include him in.
