Husky Camp is a member of the Siberian Husky Rescue Referral of California (SHRRCA)
 a California 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization

Before adopting a dog, please consider that they will require a place to be for the next fifteen years. If you adopt a dog that place should be with you. Ask yourself these questions- "Am I willing to take a job that allows me to have time for my dog?" "Am I willing to socialize my dog to babies before I have one?" "Should I need to move- Am I willing to begin looking for a place that will accept my furry family member well in advance of my moving day?" "Am I willing to teach my dog the things he needs to know to make him able to stay in my home?"

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OR MORE OF OUR WONDERFUL ADOPTABLE PETS, PLEASE BE
SURE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION SO WE CAN BE SURE TO BRING THOSE DOGS YOU ARE INTERESTED
IN TO OUR NEXT ADOPTION EVENT. NOT ALL DOGS ARE BROUGHT TO EACH ADOPTION EVENT.

“Marty” was found by one of Husky Camp’s volunteers discarded to the dumpster behind a Wallmart. He was so scared after the first attempt to catch him, he bolted for cover in the bushes next to the dumpster where the one photo of him was taken. He was filthy, heavily matted, and barely recognizable- but in time trusted us enough to help him. One week later, after some care, lots of love and attention (not to mention a day at the vet and groomer), his loving personality has emerged- and he is ready and willing to put his heart out there one more time- this time for a much better home.

He is between 9-12 months of age, is now neutered, current on all of his shots and also appears to be housebroken. He is an apricot colored terrier poodle mix, and about 12 pounds currently. He also loves people of all ages and has gotten along with other dogs and even the cats he’s been with. He does whine a bit while being crated, but it’s minimal and he will soon adjust to it. He would simply love a nice warm lap to sit in all day to keep you company, and a home where he won’t be discarded.

Meet Koty and Misty.  Two very happy active dogs that would really like to score a home together.  Koty is a four year old black and white boy and Misty is a four year old all white girl.  They have been together since 2011 when they were first adopted out to wonderful couple who have come onto hard times medically speaking and cannot continue taking care of them.

These two are strong walkers, they have also been in harness pulling a  cart, and are very capable Siberians.  Once Koty gets his energy out he walks nice on a leash, and Misty is always beside him.  They love to go on road trips, camping trips, beach visits, singing by the campfire, just about anything you could imagine.

Our goal was to place them together, however we do understand that not everyone is up for taking in two Siberians at the same time.  At this point we would just love to have them in a home, even if the must part ways. You must have another dog in your  pack to keep them company.
