Husky Camp is a member of the Siberian Husky Rescue Referral of California (SHRRCA)
 a California 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization

Before adopting a dog, please consider that they will require a place to be for the next fifteen years. If you adopt a dog that place should be with you. Ask yourself these questions- "Am I willing to take a job that allows me to have time for my dog?" "Am I willing to socialize my dog to babies before I have one?" "Should I need to move- Am I willing to begin looking for a place that will accept my furry family member well in advance of my moving day?" "Am I willing to teach my dog the things he needs to know to make him able to stay in my home?"

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OR MORE OF OUR WONDERFUL ADOPTABLE PETS, PLEASE BE
SURE TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION SO WE CAN BE SURE TO BRING THOSE DOGS YOU ARE INTERESTED
IN TO OUR NEXT ADOPTION EVENT. NOT ALL DOGS ARE BROUGHT TO EACH ADOPTION EVENT.

Here's Barbie, an 1 year old black and white female Husky/Border Collie mix.  Even though Barbie broke her leg (which is why she came into our
rescue), she now has healed up and still loves to run and play.  She loves to play catch but like any husky, don't be surprised if you don't get the ball back.  Barbie is good with other medium to big dogs, but we think she is a little rough on little dogs and she isn't good with cats.  With the Border Collie mixed into the Husky body, makes for a smart dog that would love to pull or possibly do obedience as well.

Kayan

When you see those pictures of REAL Iditarod racing dogs, they look like this. Long legs, sleek bodies, tremendous energy. That is Kayan. Came from a breeder and changed families four times in his brief 14 month life. Everyone had a reason, but none of the excuses considered this enthusiastic dog. Kayan was left out on a dirt yard chained to a stake in the ground...in the hot Fresno summer sun. If you are very active, do urban sledding, or just want a husky that will keep you on the move, Kayan is the one for you.

Kayan is a 14 month old Male husky, black and with with Parti eyes (blue and brown in the same eye). He was shaved, so has a short coat right now. 52 lbs. Long, lanky and lots of muscle and energy. Neutered, all shots, crate trained, micro chip, socialized. plays rough and tumble. Lots of love and kisses. Untested with cats and critters. Well trained to sit, lay and knows his name.

Major

Big, bold, “pie-baldish” boy offering expanses of white splashed with patches of faded grey on the body and a spray of grey freckles on the back of his ears, Major is ready for action. Extremely Playful, primed to go, affectionate and attentive…as much as a husky can be…

A full month in the shelter, Major had run out of time. Prettier dogs came and went, but the lovable dog remained. We thought he deserved a chance. How about you and your active lifestyle or energetic dog that needs a fast and furious playmate?  2yr old male, white with grey markings, ice blue eyes, 69 lbs.

Neutered, all shots, flea meds, microchip, crate trained, socialized, no cats or critters.

Jackson

Endlessly happy, people focused, gets along with everyone dog or human. Despite a solid month in isolation in the shelter and never having a chance to show, Jackson still possessed a great attitude. Looking for that elusive, “attentive husky”? Here he is, with lots of nuzzles and kisses.

Black and white male. Dark, deep almost onyx eyes, though one is a mysterious parti eye with white in it. 57 lbs, 1.5 years old. Neutered, shots, microchip, flea meds. Crate trained, socialized, probably no critters or cats.
